The Cotton Coalition

Nashville, Tennessee. Music City. Home of the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Country Music Awards, the country music… well, everything.

But to those who call it home, Nashville is so much more. There is beauty here, art and music founded in something other than cowboy boots and whiskey. It is a community built on relationships, on long nights and cigarettes on dim-lit front porches.

We, at The Cotton Coalition, have all worked or are still working in the music industry, and it can often be hard to separate the music from the business. We’re lucky enough to live in a community of extremely talented people, and potentially, we could all create something really beautiful, just because.

We love this town, and we want to celebrate the creative history that it’s built upon. We want to fall in love with music again. We want to embrace art for art’s sake, to create because we love it, not because we have a deadline to meet or an assignment to finish.
